Club is casually formed
Initially meetings were informally held at the homes of Hank Moorehouse, Dennis Loomis and Charlie Rulfs

Club holds Charter Day show
In January of 1972, the club had a party and show at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Ypsilanti.
Afternoon Show: Emcee Roy Kissell, Dennis Loomis, Lenardo, John Osbourne, The Amazing Conklins
Evening Show: Emcee Hank Moorehouse, Dennis Loomis and Bonnie, The Moorehouse Family of Magic, Doug Henning and Mars, Jeff Wawrzaszek, Duke Stern and Karrell Fox
The event also included a Duke Stern Lecture and a Charlie Rulfs Talk

The All-Star Evening Program featured Buddy Moorehouse as M.C. and opened with Jon Ross and Company. Performers included Hank Moorehouse, Jeff Wawraszek, Billy McComb, Bob Bohm, Danny Thomas, and Jon Ross andCompany closed the show
