John Sturk Lecture
37 members and friends of the Ann Arbor Magic Club were treated to a great lecture by John Sturk.
John's lecture was packed with tricks, tips and anecdotes that kept us all wanting more. He kicked off with some Linking Ring basics and some nice count and strike moves some of us had never seen before. After a Nothing Card routine John demonstrated and taught an acrobatic pencil and a rising card using a thread loop. John educated us on "hidden" treasures from magic publications. We also got a sneak peak at "Prophesy" a soon to be released crystal ball effect. John did a nice Red Hot Moma type routine with a "sticky card" and gave tips on making sticky cards. John also performed and taught his thumb tie routine, another rising card method, and many other things to numerous to mention.
All and all the club thought it was a fantastic lecture!
