Sean Howell - President

Sean has been a member of the Ann Arbor Magic Club since ????.

He is a a full time professional magician. You can frequently find Sean performing as Capt' Sean The Pirate Magician at Renaissance Festivals, on the streets in Colon during Magic Week, and around the country.

Wendy Stone - Vice President

Wendy joined the club in 2023 with her son Lincoln - the youngest magician in the club. She donates her time to the club by volunteering behind the scenes.

Rob Krozal - Treasurer

Rob joined the Club in 2016 and has been on the Board since 2018. Rob is a member of both I.B.M. and SAM.

Rob started performing magic in the late 1970's. Since that time has continued to have an interest in magic. Rob has an extensive collection of magic books and props.

You may see him perform in his stage character "The Ancient One". 

Karl Rabe - Secretary

Karl joined the Ann Arbor Magic Club in 2010. He has been Secretary of the club since 2022 and Webmaster for the club since 2011.

Karl is a part-time Magician that performs comedy stage magic with his Son Bill. They are billed as Karl & Bill. Karl has been performing magic since about 1970.

April Barrett - Sergeant at Arms

April has been a professional kids entertainer since 2019. She performs as “Hey Lady” with BlingMeUpByApril. A lifelong comic con and sci-fi geek (yes, she proudly owns it!), she bring big energy, creativity, and heart to every event — and when she is not entertaining, she is home with her husband and their very spoiled fur babies.

Mike Thornton - Educational Director

Like most magicians, Mike started his career with a toy magic set he received at Christmas as a child. He stuck with it and soon began going door to door in his neighborhood offering shows (really!). Soon after birthday parties, libraries and community events followed.

During his high school years, Mike was constantly seen on local Detroit television, Oopsy the Clown, Daedal Doors and Kidsworld Magazine to name a few.

After high school Mike studied under the legendary magician Neil Foster at the Chavez College of Magic in the Magic Capitol of the World, Colon, Michigan. Mike has been performing professionally for over 35 years at some of the most prominent events in the Mid-West.
