Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 8th from 7-9 pm at the Plymouth Community Arts Council. We are really looking to this meeting as we have invited Fred Lenter to perform and lecture for us on Coin Magic. Fred is a Detroit area magician and member of the Detroit Magic Club (Ring 22). He will teach us some coin trick and moves that we all can learn to do and use. This lecture is free and as always we welcome visitors to our meetings. Bring your coin tricks, a coin and shell and a handkerchief and join us for some fun.
We had our fall parlor shows on October 28th at 4 and 7 pm. And had a great time as we did before. It was a seven act show which included two members (Bou-Yu Chen & Chris Johnson) who hadn't performed for the club prior to this.
I would like to thank all of our members and friends who assisted in many ways to make the show a success. Jim Molnar and Brian Campbell made balloon animals for the crowd and Frank Machniak acted as an usher. Patty Rabe and Jackie Clark worked the admission table and sold 50/50 tickets. Rob Krozal sold concessions. Our V.P. Sean Naes was the M.C. for the show and brought his awesome sound technician Carl and stage hand Austin to assist as well as his wife Tracy Howell who served as stage manager for us again.
There are more to thank. But please forgive me if I have forgotten a name.
It has been a good year for the AAMC and we'll talk about the highlights next month.
