Our meeting on Wednesday night is going to include a couple "special" items. I'm working on a survey to see what you're looking for in our club meetings. Be thinking about that...
Also, going to "interview" a club member or two about their magic experiences (how they got started, what they do, etc). We've got a lot of varied, interesting characters (I use that term with utmost respect!) in our club. Let's peal back the onion a bit!
Bring some magic. I've always tried to make the magic front-and-center of our meetings. Suggested topics just give us a place to start, but I've tried not to ever limit anyone from performing any type of magic. The Toledo Magic Club calls it "Showtime". So, get ready... it's SHOWTIME!
Club dues are due as well. We extended to this meeting because of the Anderson lecture last month. After that, there is a $5 "late fee" added on. If you can't make it to the meeting, you can always pay online at our web site. According to treasurer Scott Mitchell, there are an awful lot of people who need to renew...
Also a reminder about our big show coming up Saturday March 25th in Westland. The club is getting $2000 for our participation! While the stage performers are set, we will most likely need additional assistance backstage, possibly walk-around magic, and folks to answer questions about the club.
