Just a reminder that this Wednesday night is our monthly meeting for April! Let's continue the magic by bringing something to show and tell-a-story! Yep, that's the theme: magic with a story! As always, this is just a suggested topic. We always appreciate our members demonstrating their magical talents!
There's a couple upcoming events you might be interested in:
April 9th-12th is the Creative Arts Conference at the Journey of Hope Community Church in Taylor sponsored by the Michigan Fellowship of Christian Magicians. I know Dan Jones and Bob Waite are going, along with Randy and Pam Smith. See them for details.
April 18th is Penquin Magic's Live Magic Expo. This runs from 10am-4pm at the Double Tree Hotel in Novi. Cost is $10 with a $10 voucher towards purchases at the event. This is similar to the traveling roadshow held a couple years back. Lots of magic to buy along with lectures and demos. Mark your calendars!
Be sure to pick up a copy of this month's "Magical Bits of Business" as you enter the meeting room Wednesday night. Lots of good stuff about what's going on in the club. Drop any suggestions you have in the "Suggestion Hat" also. I value your input as we continue to move our club forward. And if you didn't get a "Membership Has Its Rewards" slip last month listing the top ten benefits of being a member of the Ann Arbor Magic Club, make sure you get one on the information table as you enter the meeting room! Lots of good stuff!
If you're planning to eat before the meeting, as many of our members have been doing, plan to arrive early enough to be served before the meeting begins at 7pm. If you're an AARP member, you can save 15% on your order by showing your card!
