AA Magic Club Update

Greetings everyone! I hope this finds you well (and WARM!)

I want to thank you all for your votes of confidence at our meeting last week in electing me as club president for 2015. I'm excited to keep the momentum going throughout the coming year. I've got a lot of ideas to share with you, some of which will be in the February Messenger, so keep an eye out on your e-mail box!

I wanted to take a moment to remind you about our banquet coming up Sunday, March 15th at Weber's Inn. We've put together an outstanding afternoon in a "Celebration of Magic". Doors open at 12:30 and the it all starts off with a great meal of your choice of salmon or chicken (or both!), and side dishes, dessert, and beverages. We'll have a short program, then on with the show as Eli Portala presents his full, award-winning show! This young magician has probably accomplished more in just his few years than many of us have in our lifetimes! After the show, Eli will hang out for the rest of the afternoon to "talk shop" in a meet-and-greet. At just $30 per person, this promises to be a magical afternoon, and one you're not going to want to miss! If you haven't ordered tickets yet, you can do so online here. You can also buy them at our next meeting with cash, check, or credit cards.

Speaking of our next meeting, Wednesday, March 11th at Denny's will feature John Luka lecturing on "Magic You Can And Will Use". It's been awhile since John lectured, and this promises to be a great one! He will explain everything he demonstrates, and his card to wallet (that he did at LAST year's banquet) immediately caught my eye. Cost for you, our members, is just $5 (non-members are $15), and should be another great event. Pay at the door, and let's have some magical fun! If you want to eat before the program begins promptly at 7pm, please come early and do so in the dining room.

Well, that's it for now. Keep warm, and keep being magical!

Magically yours,

John Russell
